School has well equipped science, maths and computer labs to update students with practical understanding of subjects.
School is wi- fi enabled to make educators well informed.
Indoor and outdoor activities –
School has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor games/ activities . Students get an opportunity to develop their skills in Cricket , Volleyball, Badminton, Football, table tennis, Chess , Carrom etc .
House activities –
Interhouse sports competitions and other activities like craft , toy making , singing, public speaking , quiz, sewing, fireless cooking etc are organised to make the atmosphere vibrant . Students learn sense of belonging and cooperation in these house activities.
School makes efforts to develop responsibility and discipline in students by engaging them in recess duties and duly recognises their contribution in annual function.
Remedial classes
Extra efforts are made for weak learners and after school attention is also given by stay back of nearby students with parents consent.
Annual function and Science model exhibition –
Cultural and scientific creativity of every child is encouraged through annual function and exhibition. Achievers of curricular , co-curricular n other activities are awarded every year .
Environmental awareness
School is making conscious efforts to aware students towards environmental issues by organising lecture and other activities. Namami Gange project workshop ( IIPA , New Delhi) participation, state level poster making competition ( BEE, ministry of Power ) , Science day 2024 prizes in IIT Roorkee reflect such efforts in wider horizon.
Social issues – Students are made aware towards ill effects of drug / alcohol/ smoking, gender bias etc through campaign in rural area or skits etc .
Future guidance –
Rural kids dreams take shape by visit of educated people from reputed institutions of Roorkee ( IIT , CBRI , etc) , alumni of IIT, educationists etc .
School makes efforts to update them towards latest career/ education options even after passing out . Our ex- students have become successful in getting admissions in Delhi University, HNBGU campus through CUET.
